
A group of 12 Jordanians, on Sunday, were evacuated from Yemen on board of an Istanbul-bound Turkish Airlines flight, Petra news agency reported.
Their return brought the total number of Jordanians who have been evacuated from the unrest-hit nation to 157.
The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs said the operation was carried out in cooperation with Turkish authorities and the Jordanian embassy in Sana as well as representatives of the Jordanian community in Yemen.
The ministry assured that work is underway round-the-clock to evacuate all Jordanians in Yemen in coordination with all concerned parties.
