
Twelve members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood were arrested in Menoufia's Shebin El Kom and Sadat City over protesting without permission, blocking roads and disrupting traffic movement.
MB members staged protests outside the Menoufia University in Shebin El Kom, chanting anti-state slogans, when security forces rushed to the scene, dispersed them and arrested seven protesters with fireworks in their possession.
In Sadat city, MB members staged a protest, using Molotov cocktails and fireworks to cut off roads and disrupt traffic.
Security forces dispersed the protest and arrested five protesters with Molotov cocktails and fireworks in their possession.
A policeman was injured while dispersing the protest.
