
Fifteen Egyptians detained in Libya recently will be released today, said Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs and Egyptian Expatriates Hesham el Naqeeb.
One of the Egyptians detainees in Libya, identified as Magdy Abdel Rahman, was released yesterday by the relevant Libyan authorities, he added.
Efforts are underway to release the rest of the detainees, after making sure of their identity, he said.
He, meanwhile, renewed warnings to Egyptian citizens to stay away from conflict-stricken areas.
He also underlined the importance of respecting the decision of travel ban to Libya.
