
Fifteen terrorists were arrested during raids in the Tunisian city of Bizerte over terror charges, state-run TAP news agency reported, citing a statement by the Interior Ministry.
Thirteen terrorists were arrested and one escaped, Thursday at dawn in Bizerte, according to the release.
A quantity of improvised explosive devices, munitions and arms, including 4 Kalashnikov and explosives ready for use, were seized during the operation.
The security operation targeted hideouts at Friday dawn in Ennajeh district in Bizerte and two terrorists were arrested.
One of them opened fire at security forces and used his wife and baby as human shields.
After negotiations, security forces managed to release the woman and baby and the terrorist was convinced to turn himself over.
Five Kalashnikovs and a shtayer were seized during Friday's raids.
