
Anti-Narcotics team on Wednesday arrested 11 people, including two Arab nationals, who were involved in illegal activities, being in possession of and smuggling narcotic substances, and seized 165,000 narcotic pills.
The Public Security Department (PSD) said culprits' movements were monitored before the Anti-Narcotic police raided the criminals' whereabouts, apprehended three people and seized 100,000 drug pills.
Another Arab national drug trafficker who had glued the narcotics to his body, concealing it all under his clothes, was arrested at the Airport and found in his possession 20,000 narcotic pills.
A series of raids in the Capital Amman and Al-Mafraq governorate led to the arrest of five people while 45,000 narcotic pills were also confiscated.
All culprits were referred to the State Security Court Prosecutor General.
