
Seventeen workers who were injured in the collapse of a factory for dyeing fabrics in Obour city, have been discharged from hospital, an official source with the Directorate of Health in Qalyubia said on Sunday.
According to latest reports the number of injured has increased to 22.
Five workers are still receiving treatment, the condition of three of them is stable while that of the two others is critical, he added.
Acting on news of the disaster, ambulances rushed to the scene to carry the injured to hospital, the source noted.
He asserted that civil protection teams are doing their utmost to rescue any more workers who may still be trapped under the debris.
