
A Saudi citizen and a Jordanian expatriate were executed for murder in Dammam on Thursday, the Interior Ministry said on Friday.
Ammar bin Alyan bin Ibrahim Al-Saqr from Jordan was convicted of stabbing to death Osama bin Mohammad bin Ali Al-Bekheitan, a Saudi national, during a fight.
The General Court pronounced the death verdict after the charges were proved against Ammar. The ruling was approved by the Court of Appeals as well as the Supreme Court. A royal decree was issued to implement the sentence.
In the other case, Turki bin Minahi bin Thafer Al-Saad Al-Qahtani, a Saudi national, was found guilty of killing Saudi national Ghanim bin Mohammed bin Ghanim Al-Qahtani by shooting him during a fight.
The charges were proved against Turki in the General Court, which sentenced him to death. The Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court upheld the death penalty, and a royal decree was issued to implement the sentence.
