
Two terrorists have been killed Monday in Skikda (510km east of Algiers) by a detachment of the National Popular Army (ANP), said Tuesday the National Defence Ministry (MDN).
"As part of the antiterrorist fight, an Army detachment from Skikda, 5th Military Region, killed two terrorists, on Monday 8 September 2014 at 09:30 p.m.," said the same source in communiqué.
"The operation which followed an ambush laid by the Army members at the area Mechtet Oued Tanji/Commune of Ain Zouit, allowed to recover 02 kalachnikov automatic rifles, 06 filled loaders, 01 hand-made bomb, electronic devices and various objects," the communiqué said.
