
Giza's Criminal Court sentenced during a session on Sunday 21 defendants to jail sentences ranging from five to ten years and life imprisonment for committing terror attacks against public facilities and police personnel.
Eight out of the 21 defendants have received life imprisonment's sentence, while seven fugitives and one defendant have received ten-year prison sentence.
The defendants are charged with forming a terror organization with the aim of attacking public and vital facilities, assaulting police and army servicemen and endangering the safety and security of the society.
Also, they are accused of carrying out premeditated murder crimes, sabotaging property and public facilities and making explosives as well as funding terrorist organizations.
