223 injured in clashes in Egypt

The director of the central administration for urgent and critical care at the Health Ministry Khaled el-Khatib said on Thursday that 223 people were injured in clashes that took place in Port Said, Dakahlia and Gharbia from Wednesday evening till today morning. As many as 209 people were injured in clashes in Port Said while 12 others were injured in Gharbia, Khatib said, stressing that no deaths were reported. He added that 204 persons left hospitals while 19 people remain hospitalized in stable condition.
