2533 Syrian refugees enter Jordan

A total of 2533 Syrian refugees, mostly women, children and the elderly, including 17 injured people have entered Jordan over the past 72 hours.A Jordan Armed Forces troops transferred the refugees to Zaatari refugee camp after providing the injured with necessary relief materials, department of Syrian refugees in Jordan said in a statement.Jordanian troops have also transferred other cases to hospitals near the border.The statement added that the number of Syrian refugees in Jordan exceeded 600 thousand refugees since the outbreak of the Syrian crisis.
