
Iraqi forces on Tuesday killed 29 Daesh militants in Anbar and Salahuddin provinces, the War Media Cell with the Iraqi Joint Operations Command said in a statement.
Some 14 out of the 29 Daesh fighters were slain in a military operation to liberate buildings on the Euphrates River, the statement added.
Also, the Iraqi forces destroyed Daesh headquarters in the area, according to the statement.
Furthermore, another preemptive military operation was carried out on the outskirts of the district of Baiji in Salahuddin province, killing 15 Daesh terrorists and seizing rocket launchers and explosive charges that were in the possession of Daesh fighters, the statement underlined.
A booby-trapped truck was devastated in the operation, the statement indicated.
