The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Monday that three officers of the regular forces, including a colonel, have been killed and several others injured when rebel forces attacked their vehicle in the southern Al-Suwayda governorate. The attack took place on the road between Hazm and Braq districts, according to a statement by the observatory. The Free Syrian Army engaged with the regular troops in several parts of the northern governorate of Aleppo particularly Brigade 80 and a military post in Sheikh Maqsoud where ten soldiers will reportedly killed. In a related development, the Syrian Revolution General Commission (SRGC) said the warplanes of the regime continued bombing districts in Aleppo with gunpowder barrels. The attacks on Hanano, Al-Haydaria, Sheikh Khodhr, Saiful-Dawla and Al-Sakhour districts, as well as Al Bab-Al Sha'ar road, claimed dozens of lives and wounded scores of others. The regular troops committed a massacre in Al-Haydaria where a gunpowder keg fell on a school, killing eight children and wounding a yet-to-be-specified number of other schoolchildren, the SRGC said. Yesterday the Air Force attacked over 17 sites in Aleppo, killing 103 people and wounding over 300 others in addition to extensive material damage.
