3 Lebanese army elements injured in Tripoli

Three Lebanese army personnel were injured Friday in a fire exchange with militants that took place in the vicinity of a mosque in Bab Tebbeneh in the northern city of Tripoli, Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported. The fire exchange took place when army forces were trying to stop the militants from carrying weapons in front of the mosque, security sources said. The area is experiencing tensions with most of the stores closed, according to NNA.
