
Three soldiers of Benghazi Saaqa (elite) troops were killed and 12 others injured during the clashes that have been going on since late Sunday till now.
In statements to MENA on Monday, a military source in the Saaqa troops denied reports that Ansar Al-Sharia militant group had controlled Benina airport, noting that the airport is under the control of the Libyan army.
The source said the Libyan airforce shelled some locations of Ansar Al-Sharia in Bo'aatni district and the surroundings of Benina.
