
Three Saudi were involved in the Arar border check attack last Monday which killed three border guards and injured two others, said the Interior Ministry Friday.
A statement by the Saudi Interior Ministry, obtained by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), said that Awwad Al-Mutairi, Abdulrahman Al-Shamrani, and Abdullah Al-Shammari were involved in the attack. Al-Mutairi was the one who detonated his charge during the attack, said the statement.
Meanwhile, Saudi authorities in Arar city arrested seven people, three Saudis and four Syrians, on suspension of being linked to terrorist activities.
