
Anti-narcotics team in the northern province seized 350,000 narcotics pills from the possession of two persons inside a vehicle with Arab license plate, the Public Security Department said Monday.
The PSD's media centre said the vehicle was ordered to stop by anti-narcotics patrol, but the driver refused to comply with the orders and tried to flee the patrol. Later, the car was found parked in a deserted by-way.
A search of the car yielded 350,000 narcotic pills and forensic lab team picked up samples to identify the occupants.
Separately, the anti-narcotics team raided a house in the Mafraq governorate, some 60 km from Amman, where they seized 7kg of Hashish and apprehended two persons.
