
38 gunmen of the villages of Khan Arnabeh, al-Koum, Nab’ia al-Sakher and Um Batena had their files settled on Monday after they turned themselves in and gave up their weapons to authorities.
The gunmen were released after they pledged not to do any acts that could affect Syria’s security and stability.
Head of the Popular reconciliation sub-committee in Quneitra Ma’amoun Jarideh told SANA that the number of the persons whose cases were settled in the province reached 520, adding the villages of Jiba, Um Batena, Mumtaneh and al-Samadaniyeh al-Sharqiyeh in Quneitra countryside will be announced safe in the next few days after settling the cases of the remaining gunmen.
Earlier, 115 gunmen of the villages and towns of Jabata al-Khashab, Tranjeh, Mashara, Khan Arnabeh, al-Bath city and Nab’ia al-Sakher in the countryside had their files settled after they turned themselves in and gave up their weapons to authorities.
