
Four of those suspected of setting fire to two cars of a parliamentary elections candidate have been arrested, Chief of Public Security Major-General Tariq Al Hassan announced.
Four other vehicles were also damaged as a result of the arson attack which took place on October 20.
The Public Security Chief said that a team was deployed to the crime scene to investigate into the circumstances of the criminal incident..
All legal procedures have been taken, and the Public Prosecution has been notified, he added.
When quizzed, the four suspects admitted to being involved in the attack, he also said, noting that that search will continue to arrest the remaining arsonists and bring them to justice.
