
Iraqi forces have liberated nine areas in Anbar province in a large-scale security operation that left 434 elements of Daesh militant group killed and 217 others injured over the past five days.
Meanwhile, the international coalition airplanes on Wednesday shelled Daesh locations in northwestern Iraq.
Spokesman for Baghdad Operations Command Brigadier General Saad Maen said Corporation 11 and 17 and troops of Al Hashd Al Shaabi ( popular mobilization committees) and residents of Al Karma neighborhood liberated nine areas in Anbar, west of Baghdad, defused bombs planted in 88 houses and detonated 580 explosive charges.
