44th GCC army communication meeting starts

The 44th meeting of the GCC armed forces communication group kicked off here on Sunday, with the participation of delegations from all the six members.
The head of the session, Lt. Col Nafea Al-Mutairi, who is in charge of communication network in the army, conveyed greetings to visiting delegations from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Khalid Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah and Chief of General Staff of the Army Gen. Mohammad Al-Kheder, according to the Director of Moral Guidance and Public Relations at Ministry of Defense statement.
Lt. Col. Al-Mutairi said the aim of the meeting is to achieve coordination, standardization efforts and exchange expertise in the field of communications among the GCC armed forces, the statement added.
For his part, Col Saad Al-Kaabi of the Secretariat of GCC Military Affairs expressed appreciation and gratitude to Kuwait for hosting vital meetings.
He also hoped that such meetings would lead to achieving military integration among the GCC armed forces.
