5 pro-Morsi marches in Assiut

Muslim Brotherhood members staged five marches that kicked off following the Friday prayers in Assiut on Friday. The marches will meet outside Nasser Mosque in the city and head to the Omar Makram Mosque, where an open-ended sit-in is staged in support of ousted president Mohamed Morsi, to have an Iftar banquet (fast-breaking meal) together. Large numbers of MB supporters have left the city for Cairo on Thursday and this morning to participate in a million-man rally against what they perceive as a military coup.
