
Fifty-five illegal Egyptian immigrants were deported by the Libyan authorities from the Libyan city of Tobruk via Musaid land crossing on the Egyptian-Libyan borders.
Some of the Egyptian immigrants were arrested in Tobruk and the rest were found in the desert after they were abandoned by human traffickers, spokesman for Illegal Immigration Authority Walid Orfi said.
Also, 51 illegal immigrants from Eritrea were seized and will be deported home.
