5th session of executive office of Arab information ministers kicks off in Cairo

The fifth session of the executive office of the council of Arab information ministers kicked off here Monday to discuss draft resolutions from the permanent committee of the Arab media.
One such draft resolution is about the sustainable development agenda meant to outline a roadmap for Arab media, which is a key player in promoting the main pillars of development: the economy, society and environment.
Participants will also probe recommendations on ways to counter terrorism.
They will also review a report issued during a meeting of experts on preparations for the Arab Media Day in 2017.
