6 killed, wounded in Tikrit

Police officer and his relative killed and four civilians wounded when an improvised explosive device, attached to the officer's car, went off on Monday evening, March 25, in downtown Tikrit, Salaheddin province. Police source told NINA that an improvised explosive device went off on Monday evening, on a car belonged to a police officer, lieutenant Mizher Ahmed, and one of his relatives, while parking it in downtown Tikrit, killing the officer and his relative, as well as wounding four civilians; the car burned down along the two bodies and damaging nearby vehicles.
