The State Security Court's Attorney General on Sunday referred to the court six people accused of smuggling in, possessing and trading in a narcotic substance.
According to the charge sheet, the six defendants, including two who are still at large, had imported the narcotic substance with the intent of trading in it in complicity with international drug gangs.
The Court's panel of military judges, presided over by military judge Col. Mohammad Afif, will start hearing the case late next week, and seventeen general prosecution witnesses are on stand-by to give testimony.
Security forces arrested four of the suspects in May, but two remained on the run.
