
An Iraqi and US-led coalition joint air raid killed on Wednesday evening 40 Daesh militants in Anbar governorate and destroyed a number of armored vehicles and command and communications centers affiliated to the terrorist group.
The warplanes also killed another 20 Daesh militants north of Mosul city in Nineveh governorate.
Meanwhile, Popular Mobilization Forces managed to regain control of a public facility in Qada Baiji north of Tikrit after liberating it from Daesh militants, a Kurdish source said, adding that the forces are currently liberating the areas surrounding the facility from the extremists.
