
Qalyubia security forces arrested on Wednesday five supporters of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group over their participation in a protest staged against the acquittal verdict of former president Hosni Mubarak, his interior minister and six top security aides.
Those supporters, who chanted anti-army and police slogans during the protest, were nabbed with Molotov cocktails and a motorcycle in their possession.
In a related context, Beheira security forces dispersed a protests staged by supporters of the MB group at Kafr Dawar bus station and detained the two MB prominent figures who were participating in this protest.
In Shakiya governorate, Zagazig University President Ashraf el-Sheihy decided to impose severe punishments on 25 students who are studying at a number of faculties over charges of inciting riots inside the campus and disrupting the educational process.
The punishments range from final expulsion and referral to the disciplinary council.
