
A security source said police in Kirkuk arrested seven people and seized documents belonging to the Islamic State organization in their possession.
He explained in a press statement today that 7 people, including wanted, were arrested in a security operation carried out in cooperation with the Peshmerga forces in the Khalid compound 25 km southwest of Kirkuk."
He added that the operation also resulted in the seizure of documents belonging to the Islamic State organization in the possession of the detainees.
It is mentioned that Khalid compound is the front line between the Peshmerga forces and the Islamic State.
