
Ministry of Awqaf (Religious Endowments) Undersecretary in Qalubiya governorate Sabry Dewidar said that 139 mosques were inspected and the officials in 72 mosques will be referred for investigation for violations.
All workers in el Madina el Monawra Mosque in Qanter will be referred for investigation for excessive use of electricity, he underscored.
In statements on Monday, Dewidar underlined that decisions were issued that only imams of mosques are allowed to deliver sermons, adding that those who violates these decisions will face legal measures.
