
At least eight people were killed and 21 others seriously injured when three vehicles: a truck, a bus, and a private car crashed into each other on the Cairo-Ismailia Desert Highway, near the Suez Canal city of Ismailia.
Security officials rushed immediately to inspect the scene, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported, adding that ambulances transferred the injured to hospitals in Ismailia and 10th of Ramadan City in Sharqiya.
The truck suddenly overturned on the road and consequently the bus and private car collided into each other, leaving several dead and injured, MENA said.
