A total of 85,993 Egyptian pilgrims have so far arrived in Saudi Arabia, Egyptian Assistant Interior Minister for Administrative Affairs and head of the Hajj mission Sayed Maher said.
The number of deaths among Egyptian pilgrims rose to 13 and they were buried in Saudi Arabia after the consent of their families in Egypt, Maher told MENA correspondent here on Thursday.
The general health condition is stable with no epidemic or critical cases reported among the pilgrims, he said, noting that 19 pilgrims are undergoing kidney dialysis treatment and one chemotherapy in Mecca.
