
The eighth meeting of the Arab League e-media committee kicked off here on Sunday under the chairmanship of Deputy Executive Director of UAE News Agency Mohammad Galal el Resei and the participation of media officials and experts from the Arab countries.
The two-day meetings will discuss recommendations issued by the extraordinary meeting of the Arab e-media committee held in October at the Arab League premises.
The UAE official presented a proposal on means of confronting terrorism through the e-media.
Meanwhile, Director of the Technical Department at the Arab Information Ministers Council Fawzi el Ghaweel said the meeting comes as part of the resolutions of the permanent committee of the Arab e-media and the Arab Information Ministers Council which is currently chaired by UAE.
