9 militants killed, 88 suspects arrested in North Sinai major operation

Nine terrorists were killed Friday while 88 suspects were arrested during an extensive security operation that was launched by the army and police in the volatile North Sinai area on September 8.
Army and police units have continued "Right of the Martyr" Operation for the 12th day in a row to eliminate terrorist elements in Rafah, Sheikh Zuweid and Arish in North Sinai.
As many as 61 explosive devices were defused while 18 vehicles were destroyed.
About 48 hotbeds and 32 plate-less motorbikes were burnt while 28 caves used by the terrorists were found and demolished.
