
Chairman of Legislation and Legal Opinion (Fatwa) Authority, Executive Director of Parliamentary and Municipal Elections, Advisor Abdullah Hassan Al-Buainain, has stated that the Court of Cassation has rejected nine out of 15 electoral appeals submitted so far, noting that the Court is still considering more electoral appeals for arbitration.
He told Bahrain News Agency (BNA) that the Cassation Court will consider the electoral appeal submitted by Adnan Al-Maliki against Khalid Al-Sha'ir on 9 Dec 2014. it has also received electoral appeals pertaining to the second round of parliamentary and municipal elections submitted by Ibrahim Al-Asfoor against Mohammad Milad, and Abdulhameed Ali Al-Sheikh against the Election Supervisory committee, which will be considered on 15 Dec 2014.
