Nine Saudis have been released in exchange for 109 Yemenis captured in military operations zone near Saudi Arabia's southern border areas on Monday, Command of the Arab Coalition Forces to restore legitimacy in Yemen announced.
According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the coalition said in a statement that the exchange came as part of the truce, announced on March 8.
The coalition welcomed the continuing state of calm in the context of implementing Restore Hope plan, and hoped to begin the truce in conflict areas inside Yemen, in order to intensify the arrival of relief materials for the entire territories of Yemen and support UN efforts to reach a political solution in accordance with the UN Security Council Resolution 2216.
