Abbas hopes Egypt would overcome current crisis

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has expressed hope that Egypt would overcome the current crisis to be able to continue its leading role in the Arab world. The Palestinian people are keen on Egypt's security and stability and respect the will of Egyptians, Abbas said in statements Wednesday. The Palestinian Authority is clear on not interfering in internal affairs of any Arab country, the president said, calling on Palestinians to stick to this commitment.
