Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Friday received the voter registry after being updated by the Central Elections Commission (CEC) in the different governorates.Abbas met in Ramallah with CEC chief Hanna Nasser, who said the commission is ready to hold the elections once a presidential decree announces a date for presidential and legislative votes in line with the electoral law, which stipulates elections are to take place no later than 90 days after the decree is issued.With the end of the update process, 310,355 voters were added to the voters list – 68,476 in the West Bank and 241,879 in Gaza, CEC revealed on Wednesday, according to Palestinian news agency WAFA
