Abbas visits Egyptian church in Bethlehem to extend Xmas greetings

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas visited Thursday the Egyptian church in Bethlehem to extend greetings to the Copts on the occasion of Christmas.
Abbas urged bishop and abbot of the Monastery of St. Macarius Anba Epiphanious to convey his Xmas greetings to Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese and the Copts, according to a statement of the Coptic Orthodox Church on Thursday.
He also wished security ad prosperity to Egypt under Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
