“We will head to the United Nations full of hope that the ‘world of rights and justice’ are standing on our side,” said Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas during a speech to a rally in Jenin commemorating the Sabra and Shatila massacre, the Palestinian new agency reported.
“We will head to the UN because we are clinging to our sincerity and in order to achieve our goals,” he remarked.
He added, “we acknowledge the fact that some sides will stand in our way towards achieving these goals,” adding: “in this case, we will head to all international organizations to seek protection to our people and to penalize the criminals.”
Abbas added that the Palestinian people will pursue their struggle by all legal means guaranteed under international conventions, “through which we will gain friends and reveal the true face of the occupation and their oppression and arrogance.”
