President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held a meeting with the new ministers after they have taken the constitutional oath on Thursday.
The president expressed appreciation for the efforts of the former ministers and wished new ones a success, presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef said.
Sisi addressed the current hard situation the country is going through, saying that it requires the state to rationalize expenditure and preserve public funds.
A Cabinet reshuffle had taken place earlier that saw the appointment of eight new ministers for the portfolios of interior affairs, tourism, communications, culture, education and agriculture with two new introduced ones: vocational education and population.
