UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal here on Wednesday and discussed bilateral relations and regional and international issues, including the Syrian crisis. Sheikh Abdullah conveyed the greetings of the President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to the Algerian prime minister. Sheikh Abdullah stressed the importance of strengthening relations between the UAE and Algeria and the keenness of the leaderships of the two countries to expand and deepen bilateral cooperation channels. He wished Algeria and its people further progress and prosperity. On his part, Sellal expressed his best wishes for the UAE's further progress and prosperity. He praised the bilateral relations and cooperation in development projects in many areas. Earlier, Sheikh Abdullah arrived at Houari Boumediene International Airport where he was received by Sellal and a number of senior Algerian officials.
