The visit of Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince and UAE Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan to Egypt and his meeting with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi comes in the light of fraternal ties between the two countries, UAE ambassador in Cairo said Thursday.
Mohammad al-Dhaheri, who is also the UAE permanent representative in Arab League, said the visit was an indication of the deeply-rooted historic ties, strategic cooperation, and constant consultations between the two countries, as well as their keenness on boosting and developing their relations in a way serving the interests of the two peoples and the Arab nations.
Dhaheri said the political leadership in UAE always took supportive stances towards Egypt, noting that bilateral relations transcended all the traditional frameworks.
