
Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Essam Fayed said the 1.5 million project inaugurated this morning by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in Farafra will change the face of Egypt to the better next years.
In statements Thursday, the minister said the wheat harvest in Farafra is bountiful as the average productivity of a feddan is expected to hit 15 Ardebs.
He said the Farafra project will be generalized to all the lands of the project to achieve agrarian and industrial development , adding that 70 percent of the project will be cultivated with strategic crops to fill the gap of food
