
Agriculture Ministry allocated hotlines to receive all complaints from the wheat farmers round-the-clock in the different governorates.
In a statement Monday, the ministry said the total quantity of wheat received by granaries and silos affiliated to the Bank for Development and Agricultural Credit (PBDAC) reached 1.3 million tons in the different governorates.
Meanwhile, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Essam Fayed said the government is keen on easing the problems of the farmers.
Fayed added that Prime Minister Sherif Ismail agreed to open all the granaries in all the governorates to ease wheat collecting and contain all local wheat quantities.
