
Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ACCI, launched the pilot phase of a machine designated to issue the certificates of origin. The device which is the region’s first of its type, automatically issues attested and stamped certificates of origin 24/7 with full authenticity.
"The electronic outlet comes to provide value-added services for its clients and members with hassle-free measures allowing them to complete their transactions at anytime in absolute flexibility," said Aysha Hilal, Director of Service Quality and Marketing Department at ACCI.
"This innovated service will help to attract the investment to the emirate and develop the national exports, in addition to backing the economic sustainability and business growth of the members to be reflected on the emirate’s economy and the country’s in general," she added Hilal further noted that the Ajman Chamber is eager to create innovated services ensure growth and sustainability of the business community with full excellence in terms of speed, flexibility and security.
Abdullah Abdulmohsen Al Nuaimi, Head of Service Quality, said the step comes to issue certificates of origin in smart way at the chamber's headquarters. The applicant shall submit the required documents online. Then a reference number will be issued through which the certificate of origin will be printed via the device, he added.
