Al-Ahli Sports and Cultural Club has strongly rejected and denounced Iran's blatant interference in Bahrain's domestic affairs.
In a statement issued today, the club said the Iranian meddling in Bahrain's internal affairs contravened international law and values, and was inconsistent with the standards governing the work of the United Nations and all regional organisations that ensured the respect of the sovereignty and independence of countries, and non-interference in the affairs of others.
It expressed full-fledged support to measures being taken to safeguard the Kingdom's security and stability.
"We reiterate our unwavering support and rallying behind our leadership, and our full backing of the actions taken to protect the security and stability of our beloved nation so as to ensure the security and safety of the citizens and residents, and consolidate genuine national gains and deep-rooted social fabric," the club added in its statement.
