Al-Awash praises achievements by ASUB's former president

President of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) Mohammad Al-Awash praised the contribution made by the former president of the ASUB Salahuddin Maaoui and the great services which contributed to the development of the Union and the expansion of its activities.
This came during a speech delivered by Al-Awash, also Assistant Undersecretary for Media Planning and Informational Development, in a meeting held at the ASUB's headquarters in Tunisia on Friday to honor Maaoui on the occasion of ending his tenure as ASUB president with the participation of the current Director-General of the Union Abdulrahim Suleiman.
Al-Awash stressed that the ASUB is looking forward to what will be accomplished by Maaoui who was appointed as Chairman for the strategic planning group of the union.
For his part, Maaoui expressed thanks to all union employees and media bodies in the member states, particularly the State of Kuwait for the support and encouragement given throughout the period of his work.
