Al-Bahrain Sports Club has rejected and condemned Iran’s "flagrant and recurring" interference in the Kingdom of Bahrain’s internal affairs.
The club said the statements of Iranian officials contravened the principles of good neighbourliness, international laws and norms, the charters of the United Nations and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and all organisations that ensured respect for the sovereignty and independence of each state and non-interference in the affairs of others.
In a statement issued today, the club said: "We categorically reject such blatant interference, and call on Iran to stop such making such statements."
"We reiterate our unwavering support and rallying behind our leadership, and back all measures it takes to protect the security and stability of the nation and maintain hard-won achievements and social fabric," the club added in its statement.
