
Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Mubarak Al-Khurainej here Thursday night commended the depth and development of relations between Kuwait and Jordan in all domains.
"Kuwaiti-Jordanian relations have witnessed big development thanks to the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and King Abdullah II," Al-Khurainej told KUNA in a statement during a gala dinner held by Kuwait's Ambassador Hamad Al-Duaij.
He emphasized that the two countries have deep and similar relations of kinship, heritage and traditions in addition to deep-rooted social ties.
Al-Khurainej noted that he is on a social visit to Amman to solve a problem caused by a Kuwaiti man who killed by his car a Jordanian national, expressing his gratitude to Jordanian MPs for their efforts contributed to solving the problem.
He thanked Ambassador Al-Duaij for his keenness strengthening Kuwaiti-Jordanian relations and support to Kuwaiti citizens living here.
For his part, Yehia Al-Soud, a Jordanian MP, told KUNA that bilateral ties are solid and coherent due to care and concern by the two wise leaderships.
He expressed his happiness as Jordan's MPs held talks with Ambassador Al-Duaij and Al-Khurainej on issues of common interest.
